Weeds, Weeds & More Weeds

With all the rain my yard has developed many weeds, we did spray before the rains. I was told by our local home & garden center that we need to wait a couple more weeks before adding weed & feed. Suggestions greatly appreciated for application and type to use.

I have yet to hear anyone with knowledge about lawns say anything positive about 'weed & feed.'

Listen to the Garden Show on 1200 on your AM dial on Saturday mornings from 7am to 10am. It's generally not to difficult to call in an ask the expert, David Rodriguez. Check their website:

What type of grass do you have? We have bermuda grass and I use a pruduct from Bayer to take care of the different weeds. I use MSMA for the crabgrass or grass burs but you can't buy it in stores anymore. You can also try vinegar and water for some weeds. I would also suggest a good round of fertalizer to help the grass choke weeds out. Weed and feed is NOT a good thing, run from it. Hope this helps.
