Kbey - 1340am?

What happened to KBEY on the AM side of the radio? They changed their format from country music to sports talk and now it seems to be totally off the air as of a couple weeks ago.

I checked around & cant find any info on what transpired.

I guess we could call their FM counterpart & ask - but we havent done so.

I did some inquiring and found out that when KBEY sold that the AM 1340 side was not part of the deal just the FM. So the system has been taken off the air.

Thanks! I couldnt figure out how a "sports format" in the Burnet County area would survive....it was a nice station on the am side of the dial....
