Learn Spanish

I have been studying the Spanish language for a few months and I would be interested to know if there are any adult language learning groups here in the Highland Lakes. If there isn't such a group in the area would anyone be interested in such a group?

I might have an interest if you get that started. Depends on when and where.

reply: Learning Spanish

I could commit at least a couple of nights a week, possibly more. If I can gain enough interest I can make arrangements for meeting space in Burnet at the school's professional development office.

Keep in mind I am not fluent in Spanish, but I am studying. What I would love to put together is a group of individuals who can learn and practice together. What I have found difficult about learning is that I do not have enough opportunity to speak the language out loud to others. In my opinion, having other learners at the same level would build confidence and speed the learning process.

I might be interested in relearning/remembering my Spanish. Please keep us all informed.

I would not make the drive back from Burnet after dark so I guess I am out. I did attend school in Mexico some years back and at one time was maybe not fluent but much better than fair.

I can't make it to Burnet two nights a week so I'll have to decline. But it's a great idea. Good luck! If there's ever a daytime opportunity, let everyone know.

I am really flexible. I currently live in Marble Falls, but work in Burnet; this is why i suggested Burnet as a location. If there is interest I would be willing to meet where ever. Me encanta aprender el idioma espaņol.

I could probably go to Granite Shoals in the daytime.
For a2z123: How did you put the tilda over the "n" in espanol? I don't see a way to do that on my keyboard.

There are different methods to do it.... Because I have been studying spanish I changed my keyboard settings in Windows to Spanish United States International. The keys function slightly different but you get used to it. You can find instructions here:
