I think it will pass but not Sure if they will make it before the end of the year. IMO they are going to do just like they did when the Federal Reserve act was passed. They will wait till right before the xmas recess and when all the opponents have left their posts it will get rammed through the senate and then the BigO will gladly signed it in to Law..And then the neocons will celebrate and claim how they helped stear the good ole USSA down the Right path.

We had all better hope it does not pass. Do you really want some know nothing political appointee making decisions as to who gets medical care and who does not?

Then the decisions will be universal, instead of just HMOs, PPOs, or some other insurance entity making all your medical decisions. What a country! What's next--"Soylent Green"?

They can not afford to let the senators go home and have to listen to their constituents(sp). They need to get it through before they leave the ivory tower. I think it's now or never, and leaning for never.

The Dems cannot ethically get this passed, so they will use smoke and mirrors to make an end around run. Kingchip has his finger on the pulse of the senate. He knows what they ( the dems) will have to do and the only way they can acomplish it. Whatever happened to HONESTY?!!!! Please, please folks, remember this in 2010 and 2012! Our very freedoms and way of life depend on it. This is a wake-up call!

Now is the time to put all the pressure possible on the representatives, with calls, letters,e-mails,visits to their offices.

It's easy, all numbers, addresses etc. are listed in the blue pages of the Picayune phone book.
If you call their offices you can even get a cell number !

You don't have to waste your time calling etc., the Republicans, it's the Dems you need to contact. It doesn't matter how you voted they all are supposed to represent all of us.
