Does anyone have any info. on the the fight between the assistant principal and a parent, at the parents home, at 12:00 a.m. in the morning? I thought it was strange it's on the 3rd page of the highlander and not on the webpage.

I thought it was a car accident? I didn't see the paper.

Yes, I have read the newspaper articles on it. No information has been released other then the parent has been arrested and the Asst. Principal is back at home resting. I would imagine the lack of details are due to investigations still going on by the school and the PD. Hopefully there will be more info released soon!

The fight actually occurred in Meadowlakes, so the Sheriff would be investigating, not the PD.

Now that the dust has settled, what actually happened here? Anybody know?

I heard it was a domestic altercation between the boyfriend and the soon to be ex husband of the woman. The ex beat the hell out of the boyfriend, the vice principal, and he's waiting for the wounds to heal before he can return to work.
I hope the asst. principal is ok.
Funny thing is, after the small "blurb" that apperared in the paper any information available has been swept away. Would Meadowlakes P.D. have a link online to a police log? Checked Burnet county and couldn't find a log.

Meadowlakes doesn't have a police department. Law enforcement is through the Burnet County Sheriff's Department, and the mayor, the honorable John Aarons. :)

Oh Boy...if Sabrered is correct we've had a a crime of passion in Fort Meadowlakes that will reverberate throughout the MFISD!!! Is this gonna excite the citizens of F.M. when the whole story comes out? Perhaps MFISD will soon be looking for a new assistant principal? Perhaps one cuckolded husband will never go to trial?

Investigators say there was never a relationship between the AP and the girl. She used him to get her soon to be ex jealous. She called the AP with suicidal threats along with her children and the AP was concerned and went help her as a friend. The ex of course thought different and assumed the worst. Sad that such a great person got the bad end of the deal and that there are such cruel people in this world. The soon to be ex husband and the AP have actually talked and figured it all out.

Who are these investigators you speak of? The facts are that the husband drove by his wife's house and noticed her car was in the driveway at midnight and thought that was strange. When he found them in bed together he did what most men would do. They had been having a relationship for four months. He has an MO. It is sad. Is this the kind of role model you want for your kids?

He is a great role model. And I don't think anyone should be punished for trying to help someone who was suicidal. It's funny how people aren't used to that and assume the worst in everyone.

IF this is true then not only is the AP setting a bad example for kids but so is the parent! What a mess for those kids...kids peers can be mighty cruel!

If she was saying she was, (and I'm not convinced) she was only saying she was suicidal because he was not willing to leave his girlfriend. He told her that he loved her and wanted to get married. She went to the hospital with him after he took a beating from her MMA husband. The girlfriend showed up there and insisted that the new girlfriend leave the hospital and she has been doing all the behind the scenes work for the AP. She even called the "soon to be ex" and is trying to get him to not go public making offers like dropping all charges. She doesn't realize that she is a victim in this, seriously, he probably has her saying nice things about him online here. He is young and playing with people's lives. There are several women that need to to go to Dr. Warren and I know you are nervous to go public with your stories, but Dr. Warren is professional and private. If you don't go to the administration and he comes back to work, then you have done nothing and everything stays the same. Don't be afraid.

All evil needs to triumph is for good people to do nothing. This is not the AP's first rodeo.

Some parents fear of retaliation against their kids has always been the ISD worst enemy. Some parents are just not willing to gamble their kids well being unless it directly affects them. There is no 100% grantee that it will not come back on the kids of the parent that comes forward and speaks out against a higher up and especially when the job of that person hangs in the balance.
