:mad:Yeah! The Hays game was played like a game should be. Marble Falls lost to Westwood because the coach DOES not rotate the players. The boys on the court looked like they had not slept in a week. They were exhausted. Guess What? It happened again tonight against Dripping Springs. The boys wearing purple were wore out. DS coach was smart enough to rotate his bench even giving his top players a rest. Not to mention Marble Falls has many capable players, they sat there and sat there. i know the coach has a son and another relative on the team, but all the players should play or not be on the team. The coach lost the game...not the kids....be a TEAM!!!

Do you have a family member on the team?

Have you spoken to the coach about this?

Have you spoken to the Athletic Director?

aaomio; Not sure which game you were watching last night, but if it was the varsity game, you must have had blinders on. Several players were rotated into the game to provide rest for the starters. Some delivered quality minutes, some did not. That's why they're not starters. This team is not deep in talent, and those that start are the best of the lot. You have to win or lose with the best you have. They probably were tired, coming off a victory over Fredericksburg the previous evening. However, give Drip a tip of the hat. They're a good team, and their star player wasn't benched for rest, but rather for a technical foul and for getting into foul trouble during the game. He may be good, but David Morgan ate his lunch with his usual quality game. Connor Docherty had trouble setting up for his 3 pointers, but when he found the range, O'Mama; he drained them. Bron Ethridge also was off, but contributed quality minutes as usual. Shane had his moments, but he's still a continuing project. Others were rotated into the game, so my question to you again, is what game were you watching.

Jakesaidso: I no longer have a kid on the team but I do try to go to most of the games at home. Are you kidding? Speak to a coach or director. They are unapproachable. I do not want to send the wrong attitude here. Our coaches put in many hours. But, strategy is key!

Sabrered: Spoken like a true coach. There is lots of talent on the varsity team. It will improve when the players feel they are part of the team and not benchwarmers. I played sports in school. I know! Hey! I was a starter not a benchwarmer. But, our team played...the whole team! In fact, we went to state my junior year and won it the next year. Those boys were not tired because they played the night before. They are expected to stay at top energy level after so much time on the court---not going to happen. Yes, I was at the game. The coach BARELY played anyone except the starters. Were you there? Did you have on blinders? He did rotate in a one other player more, but that was IT to any degree. If it goes like this, the team will have NO chance at distrcit. This strategy will lead to a losing season...guaranteed!

With all due respect to our new coach of two years, you will not win games without the whole team! Your son and other relative witht he help of Morgan and dockerty cannot carry the team the whole game. Shake it up a bit. you have stron players on the bench. Give them a chance to hit thier rhythum.

I'm not a coach. I'm not a teacher. However, I DO know how to spell.

What's the story on the boys basketball team misbehaving such that several of them were in ISS last week?

What? Athletes in ISS? Surely there must have been a mistake. Ohcuriousone, how did you find out there were basketball players in ISS?
