Was anyone here able to make it to opening night of "Christmas Belles"? Looks like it'll be another great performance from this talented group.

Burnet County Singles is looking to get a group together to go -- if you're single and interested in seeing the show but don't want to go alone. Let me know! This is a social group, great people and lots of fun.

Synopsis of the show >> "It's Christmas-time in the small town of Fayro, Texas, and the Futrelle Sisters—Frankie, Twink and Honey Raye—are not exactly in a festive mood. A cranky Frankie is weeks overdue with her second set of twins. Twink, recently jilted and bitter about it, is in jail for inadvertently burning down half the town. And hot-flash-suffering Honey Raye is desperately trying to keep the Tabernacle of the Lamb's Christmas Program from spiraling into chaos. But things are not looking too promising: the ousted director of the previous twenty-seven productions is ruthless in her attempts to take over the show. The celebrity guest Santa Claus, played by Frankie's long-suffering husband, is passing a kidney stone. When Frankie lets slip a family secret that has been carefully guarded for decades, all hope for a successful Christmas program seems lost, even with an Elvis impersonator at the manger. Their hilarious holiday journey through a misadventure-filled Christmas Eve is guaranteed to bring joy to your world!"

Karenw66,
I help the Hill Country Theatre with PR-Media. We've been trying to find an e-mail address and mailing address for Burnet County Singles so that we can send announcements of upcoming shows to that person for re-distribution to BCS members.
CAN YOU HELP? If so, please call me at 830-693-4447 or send me an e-mail at kirk@tstar.net with that information.
ALSO, if BCS members book as a group, they can enjoy a discount on tickets, or HCCT can designate a certain night -- typically other than the Gala opening night -- so that more of your members are in attendance. AND, if BCS wants to provide refreshments (or something catered) for its members before or after the show, I'm sure Exec. Dir. Jim McDermott would be open for discussion. We really appreciate BCS members support -- as HCCT patrons, volunteers, theatregoers -- and what a great, safe place to meet friends new and old.
BY THE WAY, "Christmas Belles" is hilarious and one of the most popular yuletime plays in the South currently, evidenced by so many playhouses mounting this production. Enjoy yourselves.
<<No, I'm not in it! My wife and I were first act leads in the recent Neil Simon comedy, "Plaza Suite." Hope some of the BCS members will consider auditioning for an upcoming play ! ! ! >>
