Wanted to post a little more information and encourage all that can to participate... if you can't be at the Courthouse, maybe organize something at your office or simply stop what you're doing at Noon tomorrow and pray for our country.

TOMORROW, Friday, September 11th, beginning at 12 noon at the Burnet County Courthouse, Burnet County Christians will join thousands of Christians nationwide for Cry Out America ... a 9/11 Patriot Day Prayer Gathering. The simple goal for this event is to unite believers across all 50 states in prayer for their communities and for the spiritual condition of our nation. On Wednesday, September 16th, students will gather at their flag poles on school campuses across the land to do the same. This Friday, however, presents us with the opportunity to set a powerful example to our youth that we, too, are believing God for a miraculous awakening in our country.

It is going to be a powerful day in Burnet!

If at all possible, take your lunch break from 12 noon-1pm and join us on the lawn of the Burnet County Courthouse as we ask the Lord to awaken America and to draw us back to His purpose and plan for this great country.

@Curious -- now you have me curious. Are you implying there may be a consequence to participating?

Great idea, I'll try to go. This is the first I've heard of it and I'm glad you posted the info.

I do remember after 9/11 people gathering at churches to pray for the nation.

I Think what ( curious )is implying is to go and have a day of prayer, but still ask the questions of Why & Who. If you Research Richard Gage, Charlie Sheen or 911truth you may definately have questions..Make your own conclusions.

(Now curious Am I right with what you are getting at? )

:bravo:
Haven't seen any posts here since this event -- I just wanted to say "Thank You" to all of those that were involved in coordinating this event and/or played a role in the presentation. I cannot express enough how awesome it is to live in a community that isn't afraid to join together, pray together, and sing together on our courthouse lawn in the middle of the day.

Local churches coming together in a spirit of unity along with others that are not even connected with an area church, just individuals wanting to share >> the true sense of community.

Kudos to Catherine McClimans for stepping up as County Coordinator!

It was a good turnout considering the weather right before and right after!
