We have had a red male border collie named "Roscoe" show up at our house off FM 1980 three times in the past 2 months. He is very friendly with people, and knows basic obedience commands. He wears outdated rabies tags from a local vet, which is how we know his name. The vet's contact info for Roscoe's humans is no longer valid.

When he showed up Friday 10/30, he had 4' of chain attached to his collar. We removed the chain. Had we not been leaving for a doctor's appointment, we would have taken him to Christ Yoder.

Does anyone know this dog or where he belongs? We already have 3 dogs, including one dog-aggressive male, so cannot take him in.

Please don't take him to Christ Yoder, they do euthanize animals. Can you see if a no kill can take him? Or call Christ Yoder and see where else you might be able to bring him.

Thanks, JSKR; I'll check around ahead of time in case he shows up again. My gut tells me he is a good farm dog in the wrong situation, or maybe just needs to be neutered. He likes people and is very sweet.

Our neigbors are missing their two little powder puff Chinese crested dogs. They look like little white poodles and are always together. They got out on Wednesday evening this week and haven't been seen since. They answer to Faith and Hope and have Home Away microchips. The owners have checked with all the local vets and animal control to no avail. If you have seen these little dogs please respond to this post.

JWebb, it might be a good idea to provide a neighborhood or general location, so that folks know approximately where the dogs live. Hope they are found soon. There is no worse feeling than that great uncertainty.
