The wife and I tried it last night. They're located in Cottonwood in the strip center where Smokey Joe's & Brandi's used to be. Yeah, the place that seems to be "cursed"...
They remodeled and it looks good on the inside with new paint, mirrors, stuff on the walls, etc. and they have added a deck with seating outside. There was one other table of two in the place when we got there around 5:00. They left shortly after we sat down and the only other people who came in while we were there were placing to-go orders.
Really good service compared to other places around town.
They do serve beer, wine and margaritas but we just had iced tea which was good. Great chips and salsa and very good queso. Wife had the green chicken enchiladas ($8.99 I think) as recommended by the server. She said they were good, not the best she'd had, but good and came with a crispy taco. I had the beef fajita plate. The meat was tender and tasty with grilled peppers and onions. No sizzling platter though, it came on a plate with rice and beans. The rice was mushy, but the beans were pretty good. The one large tortilla it came with was hard and cracked when I made my taco. The fajita plate came with only meat, rice, beans, and 1 tortilla for $10.99. Some cheese or sour cream would have been good and I expected to get that when ordering one of the pricier items on the menu.
Overall it was a decent meal, but I think I can get more for my money at one of the other Mexican places in town. I'll be back to try their breakfast sometime, but will probably opt out on another lunch or dinner.
