Couldn't have gone to a more deserving fellow.

Let's hope if this clown runs for governor again the people of Texas will give him the toe of their boot. He's been a huge embarrassment to everyone who lives in this state, and he probably isn't through yet.

X2.

Hey, Rick! It's time to come "home" and bring all your DPS bodyguards that we're paying for and reside in that $10K/month mansion we're paying for while you draw $8K/month "retirement" and a governor's salary.

I suppose that Rick Perry will announce shortly that he is "suspending" his campaign. That seems to be the new spin word for quitting. Plus, it buys a little more time while the campaign donations continue to clear the bank. He is probably trying though to hold on until South Carolina where he hopes to get some traction in the Presidential race as a Christian conservative. (He has never struck me as either.) 10% of Iowa liked him though.

George W would not accept state pay on the days that he was out of the state interviewing/campaigning for a different job. I have not heard if Ricky has made the same sacrifice or not.
