Another "Hi" from Dallas! I'm kind of like HillCountryWoman...living in Dallas but my heart is in Marble Falls and I hope to be back there someday soon! I read the posts every day to keep up with what's happening in the area as I visit my family down there quite often.

Sally here, somewhat of a keep-to-myself kind of person. Happily married to a native Texan, with 3 dogs as substitutes for kids. I read the posts occasionally, when the thread title is meaningful (HINT, HINT). I've asked questions, being somewhat new to this side of the Hill Country (formerly lived in Leander). Don't really care to argue or debate politics, religion, etc. as I believe we are each entitled to our own opinions and are not likely to change someone else's. Plus, I'd definitely say I'm in the minority in this hotbed of conservative Republicans and those who jump at any opportunity to disrespect our President. Folks here are friendly, but my heart is in Colorado. I like the 4 seasons and miss the snow. :o

I'm here - I also grew up in Dallas - and am amazed at some of the "stuff" on the site and, try though I may to keep my 'fingers' shut, sometimes I just have to say something!!! Some of the "stuff" that's said is really incredible! Glad I didn't grow up in a small town, but am happy to be here in Marble Falls now, really I am.

I find a lot of things that people say very interesting....whether I think it's good or not.:)
I absolutely love that I grew up in this small town!! (unfortunately, not so small now...) I wouldn't want to be from anywhere else though.
