This quote has been making the rounds of the internet for awhile now, being attributed to several different people. Kinda like the one that says, paraphrasing......"when the have-nots have more voting power than the have's, democracy such as in the USA will perish". ...or..."when the people find that they can vote themselves money from the common treasury, financial collapse will follow".
Sorry, Springflower, have to disagree with you. It's an Obama bash, which I agree is useless, but basically it says...we get what who vote for. That includes senators and congressmen.
