Anyone out there had experience with acupuncture? If so, where? and did it help?
By the way, Ardra is great!

Waldo have you actually had acupuncture treatment from Patti McCormick? With the yoga, herbal tea, bottles and bottles of who knows what? it did not appear to be a medical treatment place to me. If you have had treatment what were the results?

Go see Russ and staff at PT and SPORTS REHAB. He has a very pleasant caring demeanor with tons of knowledge and a beautiful brand new facility! You can even download your paperwork on their website which I found to be very convenient. They are a couple blocks past HEB, and Nunnally and Freeman on 1431. He has treated my whole family and we are all doing great!!

Unfortunately, I have had enough injuries to need to see several therapist in the past few years. I saw Audra with SMPT last year and recently saw Russ with PT&SPORTS REHAB for my knee. I think both of them are good therapists and they got me better. I do have to say Russ' new facility is really nice and what a nice guy. Great atmosphere there and he and his staff are alot of fun. Good luck with your rehab!

Yes, Grumpy, I have had acupuncture with Patty M. I had it for chronic nerve pain and she helped me more than the pain meds did. I am now pain free and have been for more than two years. Knock on wood.

I had aquatic therapy at PT&SPORTS REHAB located 2204 1431 west. Phone 693-9990
They have an excellent facility and the pool was to die for. It was heated nicely and it is saline which is much better for your skin!. Thank you to Russ and staff for a making a painful accident into a great rehab experience. !!!:):)
I also wanted to say that there is a new accupuncture place in the shopping center which used to house Trilogy. I forget the name but it is on 1431 West on the left hand side before you get to VFW.

About five years ago, I was in a medically induced coma with ARDS and pneumonia for about a month. Since I was immobile for so long, I had to go to physical therapy to build my muscles in my legs and body back up as well as improve my lungs. I went to PT & Sports Rehab for the physical therapy and they were very supportive and great to work with.
