Tires In Town

I need some low profile tires for a Cougar. Can't seem to find anything that sells the size I need.

(Certainly there is somewhere in town that sells low profile tires. Don't really want Goodyear, problems with hydroplaning with some of those that I had.)

Any recommendations, who I should steer clear of or who I might want to patronize?

I'd go see Jimbo just north of town across from the bowling alley. Honest as they come and great prices.

As far as I know, Ed's Tires can get anything you need.

I have to 2nd Jimbo. I had a flat on a Friday evening, went to Walmart while the tire center was still open but they REFUSED to help me. Limped the car to Jimbo's and left it there til morning. The next day, my flat was fixed with a smile for $5.

Jimbo is the bomb. I trust him completely and he is so fair. I do tires, brakes and anything else I might have wrong. He's the best. He would never take advantage of a woman. A true Gentleman in the automotive world.

I agree about Jimbo's. If he doesn't have it, he'll get it for you.

Michelle, I am a fan of WalMart for a lot of things, but going into their tire shop for anything is like torture. They are unhelpful in general and everything takes forever. I don't even bother any more. The small local owned shops do this better, hands down. If you live out towards Cottonwood Shores, the new Treadworks, next to Puffy's is a nice shop, very nice people and very helpful and competent.
