Yep, and he's serious.

The problem with it will be inflation.

Could very well be Hyperinflation in the very near future too.

Inflation is a way to raise taxes without "having to raise taxes." If bread costs 50 cents more than it used to how is that different from calling in a 50 cent tax on bread.

I'll bet the majority in the US have no idea how the Fed has been devaluating the money.

Ron Paul said something in the debate the other night that blew me away. He said the US owes the Fed a trillion (plus) dollars. I didn't know that. If they have the power to print money why do we have pay them back? I wish someone would give Ron some air time to just sit and tell us how the Fed is manipulating everything and what the heck is going on. I for one don't trust the fed although I don't know what all legal powers they have and what all they do - it all looks like a shell game to me.

All they have to do is pump some gas. The reason gasoline is so high is that the $$$ we pay for it with is not worth near as much as before. It is also hitting our "cheap" goods from China at the same time they are trying to create more demand in their own country, and that additional demand will also increase the price of what we buy from china.

With the money we borrowed from them and are paying interest on.
