I am sick to death of ANY politician saying he or she "inherited" their problems. If the problems were already there and Obama didn't feel he could handle those problems, he should have stayed out of the race.
Nobody made Obama take on the responsibilities of President. The fact that he has failed to correct the problems he "inherited" makes him a poor excuse for a leader. He wanted the job...he got the job...and now he says it's not his fault that he can't do his job.
LET'S FIRE HIM!!!

The Obama administration inherited a triple AAA rating and a much lower unemployment rate, too. Bush spent too much money but Obama spent even more. Obama voted "no" to raise the debt ceiling when Bush was President and he blames the tea party for holding up the debt ceiling vote. Biden even said they were "acting like terrorists."
Now the democrats are blaming the tea party and calling the S & P downgrade a "tea party downgrade." The tea party is the group that doesn't want to spend! Overspending is why we're losing the rating!
Obama is an idealist whose policies have failed. Now he's saying he didn't mean Hope and Change would come immediately. He was going to "fix Washington." All I see him doing is out campaigning and playing golf while our soldiers are shot down and the economy goes to heck.
The Fed will just print more money which devaluates it. Prices will go up. Republicans will get blamed. He'll take more taxes and put into green jobs which won't make a dent in the energy consumption while oil companies are begging for permits from the government to go drill. That's his MO, and if he's re-elected things are going to get worse. He wants to tax and spend, plain and simple. So to recap, we're going to hear:
1. Green jobs
2. Revitalize inner cities
3. More money for education, Head Start
4. Immigration reform to get votes
5. He got bin Laden!

One more thing regarding the debt (which is the major factor in the bad economy):
John Kerry has been appointed to the new debt reduction committee. Kerry is an elitist big spender who said on (I believe it was the Today show) that the tea party should be censored.
This government is upside down. Tax and spend = good
Citizens against debt and overspending = bad

And, in this administration's eyes,
Successful people = Bad
Unsuccessful people = Good
What incentive is there to stive for higher goals???

The terrorists have always said they wanted to collapse our financial system, but I think we're already on that road if Congress and this President doesn't get its act together. Most Americans are living within their means but Government doesn't want to do that; they are going to try and suck out money any way they can get it if it means taxing us for every mile we drive, internet tax, gasoline tax, etc. They are floating all kinds of scenarios out there just because they can't think long-term and they're like a teenager with a credit card spending somebody else's money.
