What a wonderful music program we enjoyed at the high school last night, as Mr. Gage sang duets, trios, one sestet and a few solos with his incredibly talented students. The vintage dresses were to die for, but the music was even more fantastic. We have a LOT of talent in Marble Falls!

I was so sad to see that the auditorium wasn't filled to capacity.

Oh benevelent administrator, is there any way to see these events on our computer here at home. Cannot afford the gas when I am up to the trip and so miss these concerts and games......

You want me to invest the time, hardware, and server capacity to stream these events for free?? There's just not enough interest, infrastructure, or manpower for this site to do that.

Well, maybe not you, oh Benevolent Admin, but it's a human need in our community that evidently needs to be addressed -- homebound folks without access to community events that enrich all our lives. Maybe some folks will help us think out a solution. There are lots of buses parked at the school bus barn at night; several churches have transportation vans. Do I see a Girl Scout Gold Award project, or an Eagle Scout project opportunity here? Perhaps a network of groups to spread the cost of time and money out among willing participants?

Oh, and Gardener, the choir does put out a couple of cds for sale every year. Stay tuned here, and I'll let you know when there's a new one available and how to get it.
