That's great to hear. Now if the ammo was available, we'd be good to go.

Welcome to the asylum, Camo. What are your hours and is this a membership thing, or open to the public ?

Chip, what do mean if ammo were available? Please don't tell me ammo is in short supply in this country.:(

Belle,
It can be safely said that while the demand for ammunition seems to be slightly higher than the supply of ammunition, you can still acquire it...From my conversations with various firearm professionals it doesn't seem to be anything all that serious...but you never know...:secret:

I've been acquiring ammo since november. The shortage is not as bad overall as it is here. We have only wallyworld and Bowles for suppliers. I thought I'd outsmart everyone and start reloading. I've been waiting for about 6 months on primers. I have NOT seen 45 LC or .380 at WW since spring.

Obama incidentally, was voted firearms salesman of the year by several shooting periodicals.

Here are some places to get ammo. The first is a guy we use for reloads. He can do anything and is located in Tow. The others I order from often.

I think some people panicked and overbought on ammo. The supply was exhausted quickly and prices jumped. It is the same thing as what happened back in the 1970s gas shortage. People wanted to ride only a full tank. This caused all those millions of cars to have perhaps 5 or 10 gallons more in the tank than usual. You can get almost any ammo you want now, although still occasionally backordered.

I've been out to this shooting range a few times and it's a really nice facility.
