I have a friend that is a golfer and I need some ideas on a gift. Such as what kind of golf balls do you guys/gals prefer or any other gifts that you might have in mind that would be appropriate.

Golf balls are hard to buy for someone if you don't know what kind they prefer. There are balls ranging from $6 to over $60 for a dozen, and most golfers are pretty particular about what kind they use.

Towels are probably the safest inexpensive bet - no golfer can have too many golf towels. (They are the ones that clip to the golf bag.)

I think the best gift to get, if you can swing it, would be a gift certificate for a round of golf for 2 at your friend's favorite course or any course near them. That could range anywhere from $50 - $200 though!

Thank you GolfSeller, that helps a lot. He already has a membership set up where he likes to play. I do like the towel suggestion. Will definitely check that out. Thanks again.
