Is there a woodworking club in the Marble Falls area? I have been doing some small projects in my garage and would like to be able to bounce some questions off other folks with like interests. I have a new band saw and it works very well but I am realizing that I do not know if I have it tuned and set up properly. I also have some router questions. I belong to several on line woodworking forums but there is nothing like talking directly to someone.

Thanks in advance,

Old Coot :)

I believe there is a carving group in Horseshoe Bay.....
Maybe contact our library as that is a meeting site for some local clubs ....
And those ladies may know even if they don't meet there...
Check with local lumber yards....
Good Luck

Check with the secretary at Quail Point Lodge (a POA community building) in Horseshoe Bay. I think I have seen a woodworking group on their calendar. 598-8795 They open at 10

Speaking of woodworking...

I have 2 antique rocking chairs that have been in and out of storage for years. The rockers on both need replacing (rotten wood) and the chairs tightened up (some old glue replaced)
Anyone interested in taking them on without costing me an arm and leg?:D
