Has anyone kept a potbelly pig in Marble Falls?

I have seen some in the 17 years I have lived here but just curious if the city Allows them? I know the allow chickens but there are some guidelines.. But I have neighbors that don't exactly follow them (loose roosters are a bit loud!) Code says no swine. But want to know if anyone knows how the city treats pet potbelly pigs.. If anyone has experience. Thanks.

potbelly pig = swine correct?

From the city ordinances:

Sec. 6-16. Swine prohibited within city limits.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to keep, cause or allow to be kept, in any pen or enclosure on any premises within the corporate limits of the City of Marble Falls a hog, pig or swine.

Yes I have read that. I want to know if they include potbelly pigs though.

Well, I would say it's pretty clear. However, if you need more clarification you can contact the Animal Control Officer at the PD or Captain Sooter.

I am going tomorrow, but as they're not open on the weekends, I thought I would see if anyone here with the city or with a pig knew anything. Some cities allow them if they stay under a certain size and others have permits.
