Did I miss something ?
I thought Perry did not support Brewer and her bill.
Is he trying to have it both ways ?
If he wants my vote he better come out hot and heavy in support of Arizona!

DETROIT -- States have the authority to enforce immigration laws and protect their borders, Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox said Wednesday in a legal brief on behalf of nine states supporting Arizona's immigration law.

Cox, one of five Republicans running for Michigan governor, said Michigan is the lead state backing Arizona in federal court and is joined by Alabama, Florida, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas and Virginia, as well as the Northern Mariana Islands.

As I understand it, he supports her efforts, yet says it is not the answer for Texas. I sure wish that the Dem party could have come up with a southern Democrat candidate. It would have made the decision a lot harder. White is as bad as what is running DC now.

LAREDO, Texas — Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says she was being firm — and not testy — with Gov. Rick Perry during a recent conversation about National Guard troops on the Texas border.
Napolitano said Thursday during a Laredo visit that she perhaps needed to get Perry "more information" on what she called a record amount of security resources given to the southwest border under President Barack Obama's administration.
Perry, who is running for an unprecedented third term as governor, said earlier this month that Napolitano became "a little testy" when he steered a conversation about Hurricane Alex readiness toward border security.
Napolitano was in Texas to announce $60 million in grant money for law enforcement along the border. Texas gets $17 million, more than any other state.

Let's figure that by the mile. I'll bet we did not get more than any other state.

Is there some way to buy something made in Arizona? I would like to show support for them but visiting there is doubtful.
