I was very excited to be off on a weekday so I could go eat lunch at the Noon Spoon... but they're closed in observance of Independance Day.

Noon Spoon people, if you're reading this - please consider opening on Saturday or Sunday! You'd kill it!

If anyone reading hasn't been there, you're missing out on a great place.

I haven't been yet - as parents of a 2 year old it's hard to sit down at a restaurant and eat (even though he is a very well behaved 2 year old). However, they catered a ladies "mini retreat" at MF church of Christ that I attended. It was simple - sandwiches and the fixings. But it was unbelievable!!! They served potato soup that just blew my mind. The sandwiches were simply chicken salad on whole wheat with lettuce, but it was awesome... Way better than anything I've ever had. The bread was homemade and the chicken salad was very nice!
