I was wondering if our dog shelter has a way of checking the dogs that have been micro chipped? I recently was told they don't and wanted to see about starting a donation for our lost pets. I'm not sure what it is called ,I will give the first $50.00 towards getting one and more each week. Also, anyone know what it costs for one? :)

A good one to call would be Dr. McBride at 512/7562802. He is the one that the Animal Control Officers take all the aggressive acting animals to for testing in the County.

Confused? I would think you would call the animal shelter and ask them.

He has been a Vet ever since I can remember. He deals with all the other Vets in the area I am sure over the animals that he sees when they are taken in. Heck, he may even do the procedure!
