Just want to see who everyone out there is using and if you like who you have.
Currently I have Northland Cable for internet (+-$44) and DirecTV ($104) for satellite. Love the DirecTV aside from the fact that they didn't come to an agreement with the Versus Network and I had to watch the UT game somewhere else on Saturday. The Northland internet can be very slow at peak times.
I just found out that I can get a Time Warner bundle for around $110 that has both internet and digital cable/HD/DVR and I'm thinking of switching.

That would be a pretty big monthly savings. I had TW before I moved here. The internet was fantastic and had several levels of connection. The faster the connection, the more you paid.
I have DirecTV now. I like it much better than TW. They basically do the same thing, but I really like the 101 Network and I think its a little less expensive than the same package for TW.

I'm with Northland for both Cable and internet. I'm OK with them. Satellite is a ripoff I will never do again.

Does Northland have NBA League Pass?

I don't know about that, but it has Weather Channel that does not loose reception when it rains. That drives me crazy.

I presently use TW And I am very happy. I have the mid tier on Internet, 2 phone lines, and HBO/ HD package. I will never go to dish where a mosquito in front of the system will cause the picture to go away. My Father has att/dish and he always had problems. In fact when he finally reached the end of his contract he could not wait to switch. It finally took a call from his Attorney to get dish to send the boxes to ship their equipment back after they had turned him over to a collection agency for not returning the equipment this was 4 months later. I have tried the wireless Internet and was not impressed. I did try Northland and when I had it was not impressed then either. Northland may have changed by now with the competition since TW came to town.

I don't think TW is available anywhere west of Marble Falls, is it? When I typed in my address into their online form to check availability, it told me to call them directly because they could not confirm availability.

I live close to the High School and it confirmed my address online. I'm not sure exactly where you can and can not get service. I have seen lots of their trucks over in the Ave E area lately.

We need to talk. I had the exact same experience returning my equipment. They even charged my credit card over $500 for the returned boxes after the fact. Probably should gat an attorney myself.

Anyone have any suggestions for Internet in Kingsland. HUGHESNET through DISH is expensive and SLOW!

Before moving to MF, we had internet, cable, and cell and land line phones. When I finally got smart and bundled them all together with Verizon, I saved about $120 mo. Great service and fun extras! Now, Verizon offers some items to people in MF but not all of the above. Most cities have a rule that if a company comes in to sell their wares to its citizens, the company must offer it to everyone in the city. What happened, MF?

I heard that if Verizon were to offer DSL here, then they would have to allow their DSL lines to be used by other companies as well and there would then be competition. So rather then offer us DSL, they choose not to do so to avoid competition. My understanding is that all the equipment and stuff needed to make DSL work is already installed in Marble Falls. I don't believe the city itself has anything to do with it.

I can tell you that TW was in the north part of town about a year before it was available down by the river.
