Received an invitation to their Graduation and it brought a question to my mind. Why is Falls Graduation not held on MFISD Property? Those kids work just a hard as the kids on the other campus and they should be shown the same treatment as them.
Just saying, I find it very strange. Thse kids were more at risk of dropping out but they stuck it out and made it. Just hate to see them not treated equal!
Are they invited to the Project Graduation?

Maybe you should try calling the school district to find out this information.

If I had a kid up there then I would. It's up to their parents to stand up for what is right by their kids! I was curious as a taxpayer...that's all.
CONGRATS to ALL the Graduates of 2010!

Are their teachers certified? Do the students credits transfer to the accredited(sp?) schools? If not, why should they be afforded the same rights and privileges? They're not using the same curricula as the mainstream schools, if they are considered outside private schools, IMHO.

F.C.H.S. is governed by the same school board, super, same code of conduct, polices and procedures as the M.F.H.S. They DESERVE to graduate on MFISD property!!!
They do NOT deserve to be treated any differently whatever the difference in cirriculm may be.

ENOUGH SAID...

Let me get this right, you started this topic on a public forum and then have the audacity to yell (the caps) when someone has an opinion or asks legitimate questions? :banghead:

When I started this topic I was after answers to questions. TThought perhaps we had paents on here that could offer some insight.
I did not intend for it to become a debate, Reapp. Yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, I guess. Although I have a hard time swallowing people that do not mind excluding others because they do not fit into their ideals...especially when it comes to a group of kids that have also worked hard to earn their diploma.
So despite that I apologize for my "audacity" for yelling.

Have you inquired as to why the FCHS Graduation is being held in a different location?

Why don't you do ask someone at the MFISD Administration office for an explanation before making accusations that make you look foolish.

Amazing that I am viewed as a "fool" for asking and inquiring about something! I will not ask ANYTHING from here on out!

The only "fools" here are the ones who makes others feel like fools for asking questions! Don't buy into that form of ignorance - that's how "they" shut other people down. Always ask questions - they're always valid. How else can you learn? It's only those who don't wish to learn anything that refer to others as fools.

Well, "they" are locking this thread. :)
