Make Mexico stop them from leaving. How? Take the ones already here and require them to be educated about our Constitution, the corrupt Mexican government and train them to be community activists and send them back to Mexico provided they vote to change Mexico from its corrupt ways. Once these returnees start to change Mexico the existing Mexican politicians will stop them from coming here to learn how to make changes in Mexico. Problem solved.

That's nonsense. The majority come here to work in the processing plants in Kansas, North and South Carolina, in the kitchens in every city in America, in the fields of every State in America, do some end up on welfare sure they do and so does a large percentage of citizens. You can stop every welfare program in America and people would still cross to get work.

If you truly want to STOP the invasion you put the Army on the borders and tell them to defend the borders. Again the ONLY thing that will stop it is to put armed guards on the borders and tell them to repel those trying to enter illegally.

Quit messing around with feel good solutions do the dirty work and get it over with.

We've got to think "longer term" (not tomorrow, but the days after tomorrow). As I said earlier, we need to improve Mexico so their people won't want to leave it. Send them back by any draconian measure you want, beat them, flog them, etc and they will STILL COME because its better than the alternative (staying in Mexico!). So, the solution has to be CHANGE MEXICO. Who better to change it than those who have seen how much better it is here in the US. Take what makes us better and establish it in Mexico. Mexico needs thousands of its citizens to return as "community activists" to correct the corruption in Mexico. Recruit them and train them to do that.

Cure the disease, don't just attack the symptoms! Doesn't that make sense?

We can't bring the rest of the world to the US. We should "export" what makes America great so that the rest of the world can also have economic prosperity and freedom. Then the "rest of the world" won't need to come here.

I have brother who lives in Atlanta-----about 5-6 years ago the headline on the local section mentioned one of the Big 4 chicken producer/processor plants (stock listed in the S & P 500) had been caught by a hidden video in a sting where a plant supervisor was caught on video tape paying $40,000-$50,000 in CASH in a Brown Paper bag for about 20 some illegal immigrants with forged papers. Never mind that this supervisor did not have a personal salary that could get him that amount of CASH. In this cover article the national company was going to be fined $250,000 for KNOWINGLY violating immigration and labor laws. I return to Atlanta about 12 months later and in the business section of the newspaper, conveniently written in a small paragraph on page 2 was the news that the $250,000 fine had been reduced to $10.000 or $15,000 so the company would not be burdened by "Unnecessary regulations" or an "excessive regulatory fine".

BOTTOM LINE: They come for jobs and labor is a service that has always been bought and sold.

BOTTOM LINE: If you beleive in Free Markets, Low Taxes and low regulation, and a business friendly climate, accept the fact the free exchange of labor and services across all borders is part of that package.
