Yes bobby I have heard of this..While I am still trying to get all the details I can tell ya this. My daughter was in the same class..And Shes a little terrifed to say the least.Shes trying to tell me what she knows but I have to give her breathing room so to speak.

For anyone who heres about this whether it be in the paper or word of mouth. Give a big Thank you to the MFPD, MR Ryder Warrren, The Colt principal and staff. And dont forget to hug your kids.

...and don't forget to thank the students who went straight to the teachers as soon as the 8-year old showed them the handgun.

I, too, am so glad no child was harmed! Does anyone know if the child who brought the gun was expelled or reprimanded? I hope this never happens again.
