Does any one have a "Harrison's Yellow' rose? I have not been able find one at any of the online sellers. :(

Excuse me for not answering your question, but since you opened this topic I was wondering if and what kind of rose you could grow in a big pot?

I would like to know more about the "Harrison's Yellow rose".
Why is this important to you?
Is it a hardy plant for our area?
Is it because it doesn't have problems with powdery mildew or maybe it's very drought tolerant.
Roses are such difficult plants. At least I haven't had any luck with them.
But I hear new varieties are always coming up for us to try out.

tncnoack: Minatures grow well in pots.
mayflowers: It is a pioneer rose, information available on line.

It's also called the "Yellow Rose of Texas", according to several sites I looked at.
