WOW The Allergens Are Killing Me!!!

The allergens are so high. This is the worst it's affected me in a long time. Today they are 10.1. :eek:

Seems a lot of other people are also affected, more than normal.

Where is the eye watering, sneezing smiley when you need it?

Yes, they are high. With it being as warm as it has the past couple of days it is not surprising though.

I thought I was taking a cold but now I'm sure it's allergies. Wonder what we're allergic to, is it pollen or mold? It is quite bothersome!

Our sons Allergist told us to keep him in from 5am-10am as the allergens are highest during that time. Also run your return air vents while dusting etc. and change the filter often (we have to do this once every wk or 2wks for sure). Don't hang clothes and linens outside to dry as they will collect the pollen. No opening windows (which I really miss!) as it lets all the allergens in. we do not have carpeting (wood floors) but for those that do and if you wear shoes throughout the house then she suggests they get cleaned once a month because the pollen is being distributed throughout the house. I try to dust 2-3 times a week as well like she wants. We run a cool mist humidifier at night which really helps too.
Between all that and over the counter meds (plus any perscription meds) is about all a person can do really!

When I went to Walmart I needed to pick up the children's Zrytec and the entire shelf was empty!!!

I was trying to find the pollen count for tomorrow and stumbled upon this and thought I better pass it on. I had no idea and just thought the allergy season has been so bad the stores just could not keep the shelves stocked!
