On a lighter note

This morning I saw the wildflowers beginning to bloom and they were sprouting up everywhere......

I spent the weekend in south Texas. the mesquites have started budding. Listening to the oldtimers, this means that the last frost is behind us. Spotted the first few bluebonnets starting to bloom. if down south is any indication, it will be a colorful spring.

Noticed some starting to pop out along 1431 between Granite Shoals and Kingsland. This seems to be one of the first areas where the flowers come out. It's always been a good sign of what the rest of the hill country will have.

Spring, my favorite time of year!! This year's wild flowers are supposed to be spectacular!!
