FYI - just a few updates/additions that were finished over the weekend:

Weather: Now utilizes the same weather and radar feeds as before on MFI.
Daily Scripture: All new scripture passages updated daily.
Upcoming Events: Added to front page for quick glance at calendar events.

Oh - and most importantly - MORE SMILIES! :banana:

I love the "rock on" as seen here. Looks like "hookem" to me. In any event when I see it it will mean to me there's another teasip out there. :rockon:

The new Daily Update is setup and ready to go out starting tomorrow (Sunday) morning shortly after 5 AM. The old MarbleFalls.info Daily Update has been disabled. Everything is on track to deactivate MFI on schedule this week.

I believe we should have a formal moment of silence on the 15th once the old site is deactivated. After all for many years it served as a place for us to argue about the issues, vent our frustration (mostly with politicians i noticed), learn about the community we live in, share the experiences we had and give outsiders a view into our little piece of paradise.

While this site is a great improvement technically, the old site had a certain charm and I'll miss it. :( well maybe not so much......

I'm one who was sad and a little worried about the news that we were making a move...to a better location. I'm getting used to this place and I think I'm gonna like it just fine.
I don't know how to do the smilies yet ,but I'll go exploring one day and figure it all out.

Is there a way to sort the replies from newest to oldest? I really don't want to scroll to the bottom of each forum to see the new stuff.

You could always try reading the FAQ link in the menu bar.
