Was trying to check on fees for holding a wedding at Hamilton Creek in Burnet but only get an automated message when I call with no options for Parks or Recreation info. Any know who to contact by chance?

Thanks!

The last time I catered an affair at their Community Center the contact person was at the Galloway-Hammond Center. You might try calling there.

As a mobile DJ I have performed at weddings in numerous places. Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, Burnet County Fairgrounds, Burnet Community Center, Marble Falls Pavilion, Spicewood Vineyards, Numerous outdoor private decks on the lakes, Log Country Cove, Meadowlakes Club, Horseshoe Bay Resort, I know theres more I'm leaving out, also talk to the Justices of the Peace, who perform alot of the ceromonies or some of the Clergy men & women.

Imam88,
Sparkie mentioned the Spicewood Vineyards, about 3 miles south off of Hwy. 71 in Spicewood. (1419 County Rd. 409, Spicewood TX 78669, 830-693-5328I, www.spicewoodvineyards.com (http://www.spicewoodvineyards.com).) I want to second Sparkie's motion. The new owner, Ron Yates, President (cell 512-6789-1784) is young, personable and creative. He can arrange catering, and as a former music promoter, is well connected with music makers of many styles.
SV has just developed a new activity center complete with major kitchen. As a member of Hill Country Community Theatre, I was in the cast that recently performed a mystery dinner theatre play there for 130 persons (seated at round tables). And I also attended an Austin Lounge Lizards performance that attract 200+ persons.. Plus the outdoor patios provide added areas for seating and socializing; the vineyards in bloom or in fruit for a wedding setting, and all the landscaping and moving water features around the building. Oh yeah, did I mention wine?
Do I represent Spicewood Vineyards? NO. But Ron asked me last month to help him promote the venue for more weddings, and I'll probably meet with him next week. For out-of-town guests, they drive a country road, across several ranches and a creek to discover this first class venue -- great lighting and sound system. So distant family should be both pleased and surprised.
Hope that helps.

Thank you for the information as it really sounds like a beautiful setting! The kids are just wanting something really simple and in a beautiful little spot in the area to share their special day with a few of their friends and family. There is a short time line in place as well with him being home from basic (we pray so anyway!) and going to his first post.
Thanks again!

We manage the property that is on both sides of Hamilton Creek, where the pavilion used to be and the Fountain View Reception Center(next to JardinCorona) is. We offer wedding/reception packages. You can reach us at 512-715-0330.

Update is they have narrowed it down to two locations. Canyon of the Eagles or Meadowlakes. We are taking a road trip this weekend to check out both and I pray a decision is made. This mom is starting to stress...5 1/2 months left to pull this together!
