Daugther-in-law to be is needing a book for her Art class at T.T. I called the Bargain Book Store but the phone has been disconnected. Is there any other Book Stores in our area that sells College Text Books? Would really like to avoid a trip into Austin if possible!
Thanks!

All my kids buy their college books on-line if they are availale. If not, then they go to the book store on campus. Go to Ebay.com Have it shipped to your door. Don't be afraid of buying the previous edition either. It saves a lot of money. Except for mathmatics, they rarely change much. It is a racket that the publishers want you to fall for by thinking that you MUST buy new instead of used. So, they change the cover and call it a new edition.

look on the bullitin board around the class. Kids usually advertise there.

Thank you both! I will let her know.
If she has a facebook, she can post what she needs.
Mine posted what she needed on her facebook and got them free or traded what she had for what she needed.
She also bought some used online cheaper than the new books. Some were in great shape, some not so much. However, they rarely use the darn things anyway so buying new isn't smart unless you just can't get anything else.
You can also rent college books cheaper than buying them at chegg.com

Thanks JSKR, she did rent one since she did not have any bites on her FB post. It makes it nice that they can rent them and just turn them back in instead of accumulating a collection of books that they will not be using again! Have a nice day:~)!
